A male Boko Haram member who disguised as a woman was apprehended in Yola, Adamawa state this afternoon. After interrogation and torture, he confessed to being a member of the sect and said that there are 29 other members of the sect currently in Yola.

Breaking News: Boko Haram Threatens To Attack VOA, Guardian, Daily Trust, Others

The extremist group, Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati Wal-Jihadl, popularly called BokoHaram, today named more media houses and staff as targets of its attack (find full transcript of video below).

In an 18-minute video, the group threatened to attack more media houses, naming Voice of America (Hausa), Radio France (Hausa), Daily Trust, Guardian Newspapers, among others.In part, the video contained footages of the THISDAY blast site apparently downloaded from the websites of CHANNELS TV and PREMIUM TIMES.

44 Nigerian soldiers reportedly detained in underground cell in Jos

44 soldiers who were dislodged from the Nigerian army after failing to fight Boko Haram members on Oct. 28th 2014 are currently being detained under a military cell in Jos, Plateau state, according to a report by Premium Times.

The 44 soldiers including 5 staff Sergeants, 2 Sergeants, 5 Corporals, 18 Lance Corporals, and 14 Privates were dislodged from the army after members of Boko Haram dislodged them from Mubi town in Adamawa state. They were detained for 10 days and then moved into the underground cell where they have been since then. The soldiers have not yet been arraigned before any panel nor their charges read to them

DHQ confirms 14 soldiers dead,30 wounded during clash with Boko Haram in Baga

 
The Nigerian army has confirmed 14 soldiers were killed with 30 wounded during an operation to reclaim Baga from Boko Haram.. Tough they haven't confirmed the number of civilians killed by the insurgents, Amnesty international claims over 2000 died in Boko Harams's deadliest attack since its inception.
 
A statement from the Defence Head quarters reads
“A total of 14 soldiers were killed in action during the attack, while over 30 who were wounded are now receiving medical attention. Most of those declared missing in action have also rejoined their unit in the ongoing reorganization for further operations.

New photos of alleged T72 tanks bought to fight Boko Haram

 
Last week, I shared a mail and photo of T72 tanks allegedly recently acquired by the federal govt to tackle Boko Haram. (read Here). It was from a man claimed to be an officer but many of you doubted its authenticity. Well, he just sent me an update with new photos. Read below...

After reading the comments and most people are in doubt if the tanks are in Nigeria, here are more evidence to proof that the T72 computerized tanks are in Nigeria. And the real war has just begun, this administration will flush out BH now.

"Please find attach pix of the T72 tanks with our boys to proof critics that the tanks are in Nigeria and are ready to flush BH for good. With the immense support from the administration, the boys morals are high and ready to maintain the army's integrity."

Find attached a pic of recently acquired T72 tanks by GEJ administration to tackle BH. The soldiers moral are so high now because these T72 tanks purchased from Ukraine are Anti-IED, Anti Missile and are indestructible unless shot by another tank.

They were purchased as part of the utilization of the 1Billion dollar loan and 77 were bought and are being distributed in the trouble area. Now boko haram are fleeing and they are now setting IED's everywhere but apparently they cant destroy the Tank.

BBOG Decries Mass Kidnap Of 200 Girls, Women, Children From Gumsiri

The #BringBackOurGirls group yesterday decried the reported abduction of another set of about 200 girls, women and children from Gumsiru village, in Borno State allegedly by members of the Boko Haram sect.

Speaking at the group’s sit-out yesterday in Abuja, one of the conveners, Abubakar Abdullahi, expressed sadness that after the abduction of 276 schoolgirls in Chibok, the Federal Government and the security operatives could not protect Gumsiri, which is just about 20km from Chibok, from another unfortunate mass abductions.
